    Delightful dining by the Rhine

Our family room was spacious and modern, and waking up to breathtaking views of the Rhine was a joy. The breakfast was plentiful, and the owner-chef prepared exceptional dinners. We even borrowed bicycles to explore nearby towns, which added a fun twist to our trip!

    charming character
    delicious breakfast
    warm hospitality
    train noise
    no elevator

Charming hotel with a unique character. Check-in process was a breezy experience, thanks to the attentive staff. I loved the delicious breakfast offerings, especially the fresh rolls and eggs cooked to order. My room, although compact, provided a lovely view of the castle, adding to the atmosphere. The indoor dining options were excellent. the restaurant offered a delightful menu with dishes prepared by the owner. However, be prepared for no elevator access which could be a challenge with heavy luggage. The noise from the nearby train tracks was more noticeable than I anticipated, so bringing earplugs was a lifesaver. Despite this, the warm hospitality made up for the inconveniences.

    really good service
    locally sourced meals

Amazing experience! The family-operated spot treated us like royals. The owner even stayed up late to check us in after our delay. Breakfast was ample, and dinner was really good. The picnic lunch by the Rhine included local Riesling, which was a lovely touch. 😊

Savoring the outstanding slow food at the hotel restaurant was an absolute delight! Each dish was masterfully crafted to highlight local flavors. The breakfast spread was legendary, featuring muesli in glass bowls—such a refreshing touch! Also, the sauna in our room was perfect after a long day exploring the enchanting castles in the area.

Perfect for couples looking for charm

The staff made us feel special, really personable. Dinner was an experience, with the owner-chef coming over to chat about the food, making it feel like a family affair.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.

    gluten-free breakfast

    cobbled streets

I absolutely loved the charming atmosphere of the old hotel, and the gluten-free breakfast was a fantastic treat, with yummy options like fruit and yogurt. There are nice relaxation spots to soak in the serene vibes, and a cozy lounge where you can unwind after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, it’s a bit tricky to navigate the cobbled streets with heavy luggage, but it’s well worth it! 😊

Charming family-run spot with stunning views. Got a cozy room on the top floor, and the location couldn't be better—right in the middle of everything! The local cuisine was to die for, definitely a treat!

No elevator! So, be prepared to channel your inner weightlifter while lugging bags up those stairs!

Incredible Views and Outstanding Dining Experience

This place has breathtaking views of the Rhine which is a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable stay. I loved the attention to detail, especially in the restaurant where the meals were exquisitely prepared, capturing local flavors beautifully. Breakfast was another highlight, featuring freshly made eggs and a variety of delicious options. The train noise was barely noticeable thanks to the soundproofing, but as a light sleeper, I appreciated bringing my earplugs just in case.

    stunning view
    fantastic breakfast
    challenging access
    hidden ac control
    train noise

The location by the water provided a stunning view, and many rooms offered charming river vistas. Breakfast was fantastic, featuring fresh croissants and eggs made to order, which set a delightful tone for each day. However, the lack of an elevator made lugging bags challenging, and the AC control took a while to locate. Additionally, being close to the train tracks, noise could be an issue for light sleepers.
